Hi,

I have recently got an Iphone 4 and when making and receiving calls there seems to be a slight fuzzy noise coming through the ear piece. I have removed the sim card and re inserted it but the issue is still there. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for your reply,

I've been doing some searching on the internet and it seems like its GSM buzzing in earpiece during calls. People have had replacements and the issue is still the same. Some people are saying it depends on what network you are on.

Hi I had this exact problem with mine from launch on three. It would be buzzy and distorted when making and receiving calls. I booked an appointment at the genius bar and they replaced the phone on the spot - I suggest you do the same :)

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

The nearest Apple Store is 3hours away from me. I bought the phone direct through Apple and its only a few days old. If I phoned them up would they be able to offer a brand new replacement? From what I've been reading on the internet it seems that some people have had their phones replaced which has corrected the issue for some and not others.

It depends whether it is classed as a 'known fault' by apple. Certainly call the customer service line, explain the situation and see what they say. It's a shame you're not closer to a store as you could be without you phone for a while... Maybe.

Good luck :)
