iPhone 4 forgetting dlink wifi password

I got a Dlink DIR-615 free with my Virgin Media broadband.

I set the wifi up and connected my iphone to it, I dont have any other wireless devices.

I leave my phone for 5 mins or more and when I come back to it the wifi is no long connected and I have to re-enter the password.

Why is it forgetting it? Is it my wireless settings? The phone remembered the wifi password of the last O2 router and the other Netgear router ok, just this one.

Turn wi-fi protected set up off.

what iphone is it mate i had problems with me 3gs but it was somthing to do with the jailbrake is yours jailbraken ? it could be the phone

Happens on my Android from time to time.
I know it's the rom I have flashed as the normal rom does not do this.

No, it's not jail broken.

It's gotta be the router as the phone remembers the other network ok.

Might have to ditch the dlink, I only need a wireless access point as I have another router.

just as a thought it could be a network in range with the same name try renaming it

You use WPA-PSK, your network is secure.

I've got a similar problem - my iPhone works fine with my Dlink 615 but doesn't like the Dlink access point connected to it! Laptop works fine off it. It had the same ssid and key and tried all different variations but still won't connect.. weird.

Turning off wi-fi protected set up will not remove the security from your network. Try it.

I had the same issue after a friend recommended me an EDIMAX access point, it wouldn't work with several devices with WPS enabled.

My Iphone 4 is jail broken had it since Wednesday and the wifi hasn't dropped once.
