Over the last couple of weeks while i was in the US my iPhone would randomly pull down email and other data even though I have Data Roaming tunred off, I travel allot and im currently based in Korea so I know the dangers of data at £6 a meg.
So i called up O2 and the first person i talked to told me it was because i had wifi enabled.... after about 15 mins of talking to this special needs call center person she finally transfered me to someone on the iPhone team who told me straight away that its a know bug in the current software and they will refund my data charges for me.
So check your bills if your abroad.........
Only issue now is it cost me £20 on the phone to get £50 worth of data refunded....
