iPhone 4 No 3G

I have had my iPhone 4 for almost 2 years with Orange. Recently, the lock button became stiff and stopped working which is a nuisance. It may have been because of this but I can no longer get a 3G connection and my phone signal cuts out very frequently. I have tried altering and resetting my network settings. This gives me a 3G connection for a few minutes but then goes.

My contract ends this month so I'm going to get a new one. I have also had ongoing problems with this phone losing connection to my wifi regularly. My wireless signal is pretty bad and it is hard to stream tv or play online games. Does this sound like a problem with this particular phone or my router?

Test your wifi with another device, if the same problem occurs then it may be the router, but at the moment it does sound like your iPhone is at fault.

Thanks, I can only test it on my girlfriend's Samsung S3. There have been no problems.

I need a new router anyway as streamng and playing games are very tough. I will get a new phone soon too.
