Happened to me not too long ago, most places charged ~£20 but one place said it took 2 hours, another said 5 
so for peace of mind I went to apple and paid £120 for replacement phone which came with 3 months warranty. Might seem steep but I'd rather pay once and be sure the problem wont occur again.
