Hi there,
I am looking to purchase some screen protectors for my iPhone 4, my question is are they worth having? and if so what would you people recommend?
Thanks in advance for replies. :)

Power Support HD Anti-Glare Film Set for iPhone 4

I had one of these for my 3Gs and now for my iPhone 4, matt with a nice feel to them and reduce greasy smears etc.... Would only ever use these ;)

I have managed to scratch my screen before even though I try and only have the phone in my pocket and not keys of loose change, I think they are worth it for resale value

I use SGP STEINHEIL OLEOPHOBIC, they do the job perfectly for me; as good as anything I had on my 3G. Also can be had for half the price as the "always overpriced and overated." Power Support range.
You lose no picture quality with the SGP; unlike other brands. ;)
Oh and some form of screen saver is essential imo.

I have always used the bay. You can get a pack of 5 or so and they are easy to apply without bubbles. Also, they are super cheap so there is no worry if you get a scratch across it :D

I've decided for the 4 there is no need for a screen protector! I used one for the 3GS, but the 4 does seem very scratch resistant and I prefer it without.

Had mine since launch date and no scratches to talk of.

The Power Support anti-glare's are the best in the biz. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations on ebay, you'll just be wasting your time.

Hmm, what do you make of this post then?

ZAGG are great, but have that awful orange peel effect :(

If it were me, it would have to be the Power Support. I had one on my 3G and it was excellent.

Unfortunately its too late to put one on my 4 as it already has (albeit tiny) a scratch on the screen. Luckily it's almost impossible to see until you tilt it a certain way towards the light though.

Personally a big fan of cheapy eBay jobbies. I just buy a fair few and replace them as and when, although I'm still on my original one I think. It's certainly been on there since shortly after they came out.

The best screen protector I've ever had has been an eBay one, the one that's on there now. I got six for a couple of quid and it's still on there. Nice and thin.

It can be hit and miss though, one packet were complete toss and I've got them in my big pack of screen protectors just in case I ever need them, but I doubt I will.

Can't bring myself to pay a tenner for two screen protectors, and I don't like Zagg protectors because they feel sticky and look bad.

I've considered getting a zagg one for the back and going caseless but I don't think I've got the balls.

Hmm, either going for the Steinheil crystal clear or one of the power support range.
Thanks for all the replies so far, very helpful. :)
