Just got home from work and my girlfriend said that she plugged her new iphone 4 into itunes and it asked her to update to 4.0.2 she said all was going well but she got an error at the end and now the phone is stuck in recovery mode,
I have tried putting in DFU mode and restoring but I just get the error "The iphone can not be restored, an unknown error occurred" (1004), I click more info and that tells me to restore
This just causes the loop again.
I tried googleing it but all I can get is info on jailbroken iphones, this phone has never been jailbroken and was only purchased yesterday.
Anything you can recommend would be appreciated,
