Pardon the n00bness guys but would the Apple Composite AV Cable be sufficient to connect an iPhone4 to a TV? would i need anything else? Many thanks

It allows you to use HDMI which is probably better and carries audio in one cable to the TV. It also allows you to charge the phone at the same time.
You can't mirror with it though on the iPhone and the resolution is limited to 720p.

valid point but i am thinking of using the iphone to watch films while on holiday and most hotel TVs dont have HDMI so composite seemed like safer bet.
yeah true, how about the component ones though? it's a toss up between those 2.
