Been playing with the new iPhone 4s today. Took a video with it... only to discover it was no where near 1080p.

Have I missed something totally obvious? Is there a setting to up the res?
 
There is no setting to change the resolution, it always records 1080p. Those size properties above are probably reporting something else.
 
How did you export it? That resolution is what iOS uses when uploading to things like You Tube, sending via email etc.

Looks like that was the issue. I emailed it to myself. Thought it would be easier than plugging it into iTunes. A bit rubbish you don't have the option to email the full size video. Doesn't take too long over wifi. Ah well.

iPhone 4S 1080p video is about 200mb per minute ;)
 
I4 battery is very bad, with WiFi consumption for a few hours out.
