iPhone 4S Exchange

I've got an iphone 4s through work and have set up my exchange email on the phone.

when I was in work, the emails were coming through no problems.
Now I'm at home, the emails aren't automatically coming onto my phone, however if I use safari and visit the exchange website for my email and view the emails there, they will then appear in the mail app on my phone.

does anyone know what could be causing this? its got me stuck and seeing as its a work phone I really should have my work email set up on it lol

I assume you cannot see the exchange server from home, configure it with your servers public address

In the Mail app exchange account settings you will have a Server entry, make sure this is your work's external exchange server address
e.g.
Server: exchange.workdomain.com
Domain: workdomain
Username: workaccountusername
Password: workaccountpassword

Also check the mail push settings under 'Fetch New Data'.

I've got it set up so;

Email: work email address
Server: exchange.companyname.com (I use exchange.companyname.com/exchange as the url for accessing the exchange at home in my internet browser)
Domain: blank
Username: accountusername
Password: accountpassword

And I can confirm that Push is on and the desired option against my work email address.

I'm in work now and on the companies wifi and the emails are popping through no problems. but with these settings at home the emails werent coming through automatically
