You ether have to have it Jailbroken or contact your carrier. I think to teather it costs extra...it does with orange anyways. But if you Jailbreak and use MyWi 4.0 you wont.

I read your first post to read:
You want to use your iphone 3G connection so that your PC can connect and use your phones data.
The only way for this is like i said in my above post.
Your home WIFI should be acting as a wireless hub anyways i assume so why would you need to turn your iPhone into a wirless hotspot?

Your not going to be able to do what you want to do im affaid. How can your PC connect to your phone if your WIFI Card doesnt have drivers yet?
You need to download the drivers from another PC, store them on a USB drive or disc etc then install them to your PC. Once you install them then your PC will connect to your WIFI hotspot that you create on your phone as above.
Id like to help more but you seem really vague on what your trying to accomplish.
So are you saying that your PC doesnt have internet access from like BT, Sky or Virgin? and you want to use your phone? or You have this but if they go down for what ever reason you can use your phones data?

If you mean you want to physically connect the iPhone to your PC via USB and transfer internet that way then i doubt that can be done.
