iPhone 4S unlocking

I got my 4S via 3, and a few weeks ago i filled in the online form on the 3 site to request the phone to be unlocked.

Few days later i received an text from 3 saying the unlock request had been processed, and i can add a new sim and connect to itunes etc.

Is there anyway of finding out if it has been unlocked. The only sims i have are the 3 sim which is now in my new phone, and my old orange pay as you go sim which is one of the older size sims.

the link for that template would be perfect, but is a dead link in the video link. i found some others they printed to the correct size of the current sim to line up but had no cut lines, another i printed had lines for cutting but printed with the wrong sizes.

could just measure it up to your 3 sim and trim

i thought of doing that at first but the left and top edges are thinner so i cant line them up to cut the bigger orange sim.

I found google image search that has lines across on an A4 sheet for cutting but its a screen grab of a pdf template so it prints the wrong size, i cant fine the pdf template to print out at the correct size.
