iPhone 5 3G issue

Right folks, got an issue here.

For some reason my iPhone 5 3G just does not want to work today.

In settings under General 3G is ON. But you normally see the 3G sign at the top if it's on. It's not even there. Tried airplane mode few times to see if that halped, no joy.

Turned the phone of few times to see if it helped that way. No joy there too.

Reseted the Network settings and that didnt help too? My wi-fi works as normal.

Anything else i can do? :confused:
 
Yup im with Three.

No wonder. They could have at least text me saying the network will be down.
 
I was just about to write off my iPhone 5 and take a trip to the Apple store lol I'm at work at the moment so haven't got a spare phone just to test it.

I'm on Three by the way (probably goes without saying). Also based in the Birmingham/Wednesbury area. Thought it was just a local mast issue at first, but this seems to be very widespread.

Yea service back up now. Didnt know Three had a Data problem today morning. Oh well
 
Every 2-3 days I seem to have to switch my iPhone 5 to airplane mode and back again to get data to work. The 3G symbol is displayed, but data just won't work.

I realise this isn't related to the issue mentioned above, but when I saw the thread title, I was really hoping that someone was experiencing the same problem as me.

This has happened on this phone with a Virgin Mobile SIM and an OVIVO SIM. Might be time to take it to a Genius :(
