Iphone 5 camera issues

Seen this doing the rounds,not sure if it has been covered already, about problems with i phone 5 & a purple haze problem, (chromatic aberration) according to Apple it's considered normal behaviour, & something all digital cameras suffer from.

Well, apparently the iphone 4 didn't suffer from it.

From what I've read it could be a UV problem with the new sapphire crystal lens which is to blame for this anomaly

Well Apple finally comments on the problem,it basically stated that users are holding the device wrong.
