Hey all.

Currently I'm keeping my white iPhone 5 in a little slim sleeve made of suede, I've had it since launch and it looks brand new but the whole slipping it in and out all the time is starting to bug me. I've been looking at plastic clip on cases, but I'm wondering if I use one dirt might start to get behind it and cause scuffs and scratches to the metal. I'm sure this happened to my friend on his 4 when he was using a bumper.

Has anyone got any experience with this? I'm not sure what to do.

Cheers.

Could put a back protector on it (same as a screen protector but for the...back), then put the plastic case on.

I've had a Knomo case that covers the back and sides of my iP5 since launch, and mine is still perfect.

General thing to do when using cases or pouches is to clean it out of dust and dirt regularly. My 3GS was scratched up cause I never cleaned the case and pouches out. With my iPhone 5 though, I clean the case and phone about once a week and no scratches have popped up. May not be necessary but its better to be safe than sorry.
