iPhone 5 poor wifi

Is this typical?

I have a 5 via work (so can't really get it swapped out) and the wifi signal seems very weak.

I have a good wireless AC router (so range should be good) and other devices seem better (wife's ip4, 3 iPads, 2 laptops & MBA) which suggests to me it's my 5 with the problem as opposed to the network.

Anything I can do? I this common on the 5?

ah, shame really as it's a great phone.

I always put my 3G being poor down to being on Vodafone, and them being naff for data, i do seem to get a lot of dropped, or dialed and nothing happens type experiences as well...

(Ironically ever other idevice in the house that works better has a cover on still...)
