Iphone 5 repair status

Hi
Some of you may have seen a pic I put up here about three weeks after getting my iphone 5 and the damage some crap bumper case did to the sides.

Anyway since then the phones home button stopped working so I sent it off yesterday in the post in one of the boxes apple send.

Today I get an email to track the status of it and the latest update is
'Repaired product return pending'

Does this mean I will get my battered one back with a working button? I got a new 4s when the home button broke on that?

I can't answer your question.

It's easy to say after the event but if you could have got to an Apple store, they'd have just replaced it on the spot. None of this faffing about sending it off for repair.

it means they are waiting your return, id call up if you sent it a while ago as it sounds like its gone missing

I don't think its gone missing....It means that it is awaiting authorization to be sent by courier.

Lol its come back all fixed and working now but same old phone.

looks like I've been owned this time.
