No not irony, I went from a 3GS to a Samsung galaxy nexus which when selling like 7 months later, sold for a measly £175 on eBay! So basically £150. That phone was selling for £400/£500 on release and now it's worth sod all! Won't be making that mistake again, hence why i went for an iPhone 5.

I had exactly the same situation. Only got £150 for my Nexus when selling it recently. The iPhones are the only smartphones which retain a decent amount of value.
