IPhone 5c or s

Have been offered the above two phones for 90 and 115 respectively.

It's for my daughters Christmas present, I know nothing about iPhone - are the above any good and worth the money or avoid and try to find a 6?

5S is a far better phone the 5C was Apple's budget phone.

5c is slow cheap plastic crap phone, avoid at all costs. 5s on the other hand is a good phone

The se is a 5s exterior with 6s internals. It will cost quite a bit more than the 5s and 5c. Cracking phones though.

The SE I've seen for around £20 a month after discount so over a 2 year deal £480 if I go 5s i'm looking at handset of £115 and around £10 a month for sim so £355, so £130 difference - is it worth this difference?

I know I could go and look at the phones but I don't think I'd learn a lot in the 20 mins youd get in a shop.

The SE is worth the difference yes, much better camera, Apple Pay, faster etc

It depends on how old she is and what she's doing with the phone. My ten year old son has a 32gb 5c running iOS 10 and has plenty of games and music on and has no problems at all. For day to day usage it is not that much faster than a 5S. It is also a lot more robust than a 5S. When we got it I offered him choice of a 16Gb 5S or a 32GB 5C - he picked the 5C and does not regret it to this day. You need to see it through the eyes of the child too, IMO.

This, the 5c is actually pretty good, my mum has one and its very fast and does everything she wants no problems at all, I was surprised how fast it actually is.
