iPhone 5S/laptop tethering issue

Hi all

When I tethering my 5S to my Toshiba laptop, the laptop will connect to the phone but won't have any internet access (although it might work very briefly then stop straight away). The same laptop tethered via a USB cable to the 5S works perfectly, and the same laptop tethered to a Moto G works perfectly. My iPad and a Galaxy S2 connect just fine to the iPhone via wifi and don't have any issues getting online.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm confused by your post - the laptop will drop internet when tethered to the 5S mobile handset, yet you go on to say that it works fine tethered to the 5S via USB?

Do you mean over wireless personal hotspot?

Often you will find a reset of both the phone and the laptop will cure tethering connectivity/sharing issues.

How many devices are connected at once? Could they be competing?
