I'm on 3 network on contract I've gave my iPhone 6 to my son I'm back on android.the question is with my contract sim card in my Samsung can 3 tell what phone I'm using? Cheers

They are able to identify the device used but realistically, why would they care? They're getting their money, it really doesn't matter.

100% spot on, some networks don't like this within the first 6 months...

Loads of people buy these on contract on release day to immediately sell on for a bit of a profit. Don't worry about it

Problem is my son dropped it in water it is insured but I've been told insurance companies will ask for proof of use from three. In which case will it com back not in use? . Or is it the sim they check . If it's to see it's an iPhone can I put my sim in my wife's iPhone 6 .
