iPhone 6s smashed screen, cannot unlock, help!

Hi Folks,

I smashed the screen on my iphone 6s.

I treid to unlock it numerous time and it's now locked saying "connect to itunes".

iTunes gives an error code 0xE8000015 and won't connect.

All I want to do it wipe my data off it and flog it on ebay.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

bit rusty on this but is there not a way to remotely wipe the device?

i seem to remember this could be done via findmyphone by logging into www.icloud.com
