iPhone 6s - Voice Recording

Does anyone have experience using the built in recorder on the new iPhone 6s?

Basically I need to record some interviews for my dissertation and I am looking for a cheap option to do this.

I'm just not sure of the quality of the recorder on the iPhone and if the mic will be decent enough to pick up the conversations clearly.

The mic is good and the playback is fine, it picks up breathing quite easy and also wind but being indoors, that won't be a problem.

How long do you need to record for?

Thanks for letting me know, I will test it out but have just spoke to a few of my friends and they have just used their iPhones with no major problems!

I only need to record for 15-20 minutes at a time and I have the 64GB version so I'm not worried about the memory really.
