Looking for a decent screen mount for an iPhone 7 to use as a sat nav in the car, Amazon and ebay seem to be a minefield so looking for a recommendations happy to pay more for a decent one rather than some cheap piece of junk that stops sticking after a week!

I used a Belkin mount in my VW Polo when I had it, it sticks into the grill on one of the vents and it worked really well, and it was in a perfect location. Obviously it depends a bit on where your vents are in the car. By the way I used it on an iphone 6 and 7+, so the size should be fine.
Think the actual product name is "Car Vent Mount"... inventive!

I’m using a Scosche Magicmount, although other magnetic mounts and the like are available...

Small plate stuck to the back of a Spigen hybrid case (avoiding NFC and Qi areas, so near the bottom), with the mount sitting on the dash in the A-pillar area next to the door. Mount’s got a rubberised coating and the magnet’s strong enough that it held on to the phone fine around Loch Lomond a few weeks back (horrendous potholes).

Got it fitted at a height that my (current) iPhone 8 and Mrs whiskycycle’s Pixel 2 fit the same area and don’t rattle about.

Spigen themselves do a decent enough version (Kuel, I think it’s called).

I use a Kenu Airframe which attaches securely to the vent, it's for my Pixel but will fit your iPhone no problem.

Don't mount it on the screen, do a proper job.

Thanks all, have decided to give the Kenu airframe a go as it seems to be pretty universal so should work in both cars with both phones!
