Poll: iPhone Adult Section

[L0rdMike]

I seem to remember watching Top Gear which had Stephen Fry talking about a gay cruising program he had on his iPhone, I'm guessing that doesn't appear on the normal store?

Grindr/Grinder or something.

I don't mind it myself being over the age limit to buy porn, but what really ticks me off is when there are free kids apps that uses ads to fund them, and those ads are for porn... its not right...

Eventually they will, sex sells period !!

And if anyone wants easy $$$$ its apple, they just want you to buy it their way and as soon as they work it out the app store will be flooded with it...

Personally I think Apple's control of what apps are approved on the appstore is detrimental to the platform. Anything that loosens that control I approve of.

In principle maybe but in practice I dread to think how many more useless ifart apps and the like we'd have without some control being exercised. I've never had a problem personally which colours my view but I think the current system works fairly well for the majority of users.

I put don't care because personally, I don't. But if people want them, and there's a way to control who can see it, I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be.

I think Apple's control of what's on the App Store can go a bit far sometimes but on the whole I agree with it. Them controlling it to such a degree, I think, keeps the level of quality up.
