can anyone get Ntl mail accounts set up on the iPhone? I've been trying since I got it and no luck.

If it is Pop, IMAP or Exchange it will work, just make sure you enter the details right. :)

Mail out: smtp.ntlworld.com
+
Mail in: pop.ntlworld.com

Or something to that effect, fill in your full username etc too, no cutting corners. :)

If I can get my Google hosted @xxx.com to work there is no reason NTL should not work,

unless its changed, you can only access ntl mail either from your home connection of the ntl/virgin webmail thingy on their website. you cant access it from a different network

Same with Sky email.

Cool, someone with Sky... Do they send possible tellings off to that address? I'm somewhat paranoid there may be one there but I can't get to it to check...

Might need to slip my sister £5 a month to get the 16Mb package. :p

Think so, I haven't had any yet, and I've been breaking the fair usage policy for aaages!

I wouldn't worry about it.

Edit: I've got the 16 meg, it's great :)

:) Next question... Anyway to monitor bandwidth use? with 2 PC's a MBP and an iPod touch it's not the best network to monitor... :(

Would have been fine if my sister and her equally useless boyfriend didn't fail at the intawebz.

Not sure tbh, there isn't a bandwidth limit as such with the unlimited 16 meg so i've never used it.

I know there is one for Windows though, but can't for the life of it think what it' called.

The PC bandwidth thing is NetLimiter.
