iPhone and SMS

Hi guys & girls

Just a quick question.

Am I missing something or is it another quirk of the iPhone software, I can't seem to find how to forward SMS's, you know when someone sends you a joke and you want to share it with your friends.

You can't do it unfortunately with the standard SMS app, which is pretty crap.

Is your iPhone Jailbroken? If it is, install SMSD from the installer, this will allow you to forward messages

I have SMSD installed on my iPhone but whenever i try to open it it just goes back to the springboard.

Any ideas??

Did you install it through the installer application or using SSH?

I found SMSD to be a bit of a pain, and I've yet to get it working right.

I'm now using iSMS, although it's the Snapshot version, which is the latest, rather than the "official" release one - which doesn't appear to work on 1.1.3/1.1.4.

Go to Installer -> Sources -> Add Source -> http://iphone.nonsoft.com/repo
Then go to Install -> Shawn Chain's Apps -> to install it.

Thanks for that, I thought it was me missing something, I'll have a look at the other suggestions mentioned in this thread.
