iPhone: APN Payload is already installed

I unlocked my iPhone from O2 and have now moved to Vodafone. They sent me the text with the configuration settings for 3G/4G but when I try and install it I get:

"APN Payload is already installed"

There's nothing in Google to provide any help with this. Does anyone know how I can fix it? If I reset my iPhone will it become locked/latched again?

You need to input the new APN Settings manually (quickest way) or reset the phone (more dramatic way).

I've just put in the Vodaphone settings and it works.

I'm just worried it may connect to O2 and charge a fortune.

(I know nothing about this sort of thing)

A Vodafone sim is not going to connect to O2 so wouldn't worry.
