iPhone as a modem / BT Openzone

Hi all,

For the forceable future i'm going to be working in an area where I get Bt openzone on my 02 iPhone 3GS, I just have a few questions ref this:


1 - To use my iPhone as a 'modem' do I simply plug it into my MBP then turn on 'internet tethering' and away I go? The MBP will use the Bt openzone for free via my iPhone

2 - What usage do I get with 02 on BT openzone? I belive it to be 'unlimited' with fair usage, whats the fair usage?

BT Open Zone is wi-fi based. Simply connect your MBP to the wireless network and away you go.
If however the BT Open Zone minutes are tied to your phone contract then I'm afraid you can't connect your MBP to your phone, it'll only be accessible via your phone's browser.
