iphone backup

is it possible to read my backup files for the iphone and get some photos out of there on my laptop?

Google 'iPhone Backup Extractor' and the 2nd link looks promising, although I have not tried this myself so do so at your own risk.

I've used that, works a treat. Can pull pretty much anything you want out of the backups too. Seriously neat. I think you can even extract mails and texts and reinject them into other backups/your existing iPhone too.

yeh but with that iphone extract theres no option to extract photos

It's under "Other Files".

Check the DCIM or Media folders.

yeh for some reason in my backups i cant see other files in the list. im 100% sure there were photos on the backup
