iPhone Battery Condition

Is there any way to tell what the condition is of an iPhone battery?

Smashed the screen on my phone and wondering if I should just get the battery done at the same time.

Well, my early 6S is showing 83%.

Think I’ll pay £25 to get it changed.

Went into Apple this morning. Was told 80-100% was acceptable for battery condition but mine was replaced free of charge because their diagnostics detected that my phone had shut itself down due to a battery anomaly (my phone doesn’t like being at 13k feet apparently but didn’t mention that).

The proper diagnostic tool they used said the same battery condition as the latest update.

Definitely worth doing I think before the price goes back up, though I'm not sure Apple will allow it if it's not less than 80% health was the impression I got from the tech?
