iphone bbc website issue

hello,

have a minor issue with my iphone everytime I go onto the bbc website its diverts to the mobile version.

This never used to happen is there anyway to get it to dirvert to the normal version!

Scroll to the bottom, choose preferences, and then "desktop version".

Only way to do it is to fake the user agent so the BBC thinks you're using a desktop browser.
You can get an app that does it but your phone needs to be jailbroken.

You could e-mail the BBC and tell them to sort it out

This sort of stuff should be stored in a cookie really.

Are you using 3g or wifi to access the website?

This now happens on my iTouch - BBC is being big brother - presumably because a lot of things on the desktop site don't work iPod / iTouch / iPhone due to Apple's useless safari browser.

The BBC News and Sport websites are still fine for me.

I get the mobile everytime. Only started happening recently but very annoying

Its going to the mobile site on my xperia now... sucks... could spoof the user agent but I can't be bothered...

The main bbc website works fine in the desktop version on my xperia just the flash videos in iplayer that don't
