I have added an event to my calendar on my iPhone but it's added it to the wrong calendar, how can I move it so it shows up as a different colour and under a different calendar?

has it added it to a calender linked to one of your email accounts like gmail?
Segs > Mail > Calenders

I sync my calendar with Google Calendar and can't find the option (on the iPhone) for changing an existing entry either. Looks like you either a) have to repost it in the different calendar or b) change it in Google Calendar if you use it.

Whether you sync or have the calendar stored locally, I don't think there is any way of changing the calendar of an iCal event once it has been created on an iTouch/iPhone. You will need to use you desktop client for this, or alternatively just recreate the event.
