Im trying to move photos from the Camera Roll Album to a user Created album...

Why is there no option on the phone to do this? And why doesnt itunes sync this Camera roll folder?

Cheers for the help in moving these photos is appreciated.

The camera roll is a place where ALL photos are accessible.

Think of it as a way to view all your albums at once, therefore, no matter where you move the photos; they'll always appear in the camera roll

So how do you move photos from Camera Roll to an Album? Or even Copy them into an Album?

Is that possible to do on the phone? Im guessing its not as i cant seem to find a way to do it :/

Re read my reply.

The camera roll shows ALL your photos, you cannot move photos out of it.

You can create extra folders in your pictures folder on your PC/Mac and categorise groups of pictures, but you can't create groups on the phone itself.

E.g. Macintosh HD> Home > Pictures > Add your folders here (Home, Dogs, Cars etc)

Then sync and you'll have those categories on your phone.

Are you using a Mac or a PC?

The only way to do this is to copy the photos and paste them in a new folder which iTunes is able to sync as a photo album onto your iPhone. However, you'll end up with duplicate photos in different albums unless you delete the original photos from the Camera Roll album on your iPhone.

Camera roll is an album for photos only taken by the iPhone's camera. No other synced photos appears in this album

cheers guys, i done as you said Cybertronic, thanks.

It would have been better if you could do that on the phone :/ Apple needs to sort that out :)
