iphone cant send pic messages

tried sending a picture message last nite to have it fail repeatedly, so i checked on the o2 site and you have to text mms to 1010 which i have done.

got a text back saying "well set up picture messaging now and let you know when its read blah blah"

how long does this take as its been 24 hours.

also i have sent picture messages before about 4months ago.

can anyone tell me what settings are needed and i can check them with mine? or suggestions on how to fix?

My iPhone did the same last night. I just switched it off and back on again and it was fine straight away.

no i think i shall try a reset.

what do i do to back up everything and get it all back on the phone?

Have you tried resetting the iphone network settings under Settings>General ? If not, try that first.

ive just sent a picture message

when o2 network went down while ago i changed the APN for cellular, voicemail and MS to mobile.02.co.uk the reset set it to idata.02.co.uk.

is that the normal setting to be using for each ?
