The case of my iphone 2G is looking fairly beaten up now. When I say case I mean the shiney back end with the Apple logo and 'iPhone 8GB' on it. I was wondering if it is possible to strip the case off and replace it with a purchasable new one? So it looks as good as new again. It would be even better if it's possible to replace the metallic back end with a plastic one, like the 3G phone. Apparently it's better for picking up signals.
