Iphone charger

I am fed up of having to use a cable charging point and fighting over who uses it with the wife. I know you are all thinking "buy another cable" but i also dislike the cables lying around.
I am looking for charging pad where you can just lie the phone on it. The only ones i have found so far fit one phone and you have to use a sleeve on the device.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent solution? are there any disadvantages to wireless charging?

That is the only solution. Unless the phone is specifically designed with an induction loop inside it.

Its either that, or another cable. You could get a dock / charging cradle.

I just bought an iPhone dock alarm clock so I didn't need to keep plugging it into the wall. Cats kept nibbling the wires at that point.
