iPhone charging dock....and case

Any suggestions?...was going with the offical one from Apple but was hoping their was something on the market which was compatible with my iPod 5G too...or am i hoping?....

.....also any good case suggestions for the iPhone welcome

The official one should be compatible - all you need is the right dock adaptor.
If you want to push the boat out then how about the Arcam irdock? I've debated on one of these but I don't know how much longer I'll keep my iPhone for. Android is calling

Thanks, just on the apple site it's says the dock is only compatible with the 3g and 3gs, no mention of normal iPods but figured it would work. It's
just for the desk for syncing/ charging for ease of use.

For a case I recommend an Incase Slider.

Ahhh there are two kinds of docks, an iPhone specific one and a universal one. You need the universal one.

Griffin do a dual dock which will work with both, it's got no audio out though which is a shame.

The Universal one will work. I have the iPhone one, but might swap it for the Universal, as my Incipio case won't fit with the dock, and it's pretty thin.

Bare in mind that the universal one doesnt have the same speaker slots as the iphone specific one, so might be a bit muffled if you use it on dock with speakerphone.

Just looking at the apple one I really dont need the remote at all..dont even need outputs of anything...jsut a nice dock for the desk would be handy.....does griffin or anyone do a good one?

I see their is a company called TeckNet that do one that looks good in the pics thru a rainforest dealer lol...reviews that their are are good but its TAHT cheap I dont know if I can trust it lol
