Hey guys

After some battery charging tips for my iPhone 6 in order for maximum longevity. I have done some googling, but am left with more questions than answers!

I understand li-on batteries are different from other batteries and as such don't have a memory effect, however I have seen conflicting opinions on how to charge it.

Many people say to keep the charge between 40-80% and top up frequently throughout the day, not letting the battery get below 20% and to not charge too often from 0-100%.

I often charge my phone to 100%, after a day of normal usage, I will have between 60-80% left, which I'll charge again to 100%. Rinse-and-repeat.

Question is is this less than optimal charging method? Should I instead aim to keep my battery between 40-80%? Should I do something else?

Excellent stuff - thanks all :)

I do, perhaps once every two months or so, run the battery down and charge back to 100% to "re-calibrate" the battery, not sure if I need to bother with this though :)
