iPhone check for mail issue.

Hi guys,

Just got iPhone 3GS. Fully updated firmware. I've just set up my mail account, and now everytime I go to mail, it says at the bottom 'Checking for mail' and then promptly returns me to the home screen.

Anyone else had ths issue, if so how did you fix?

Hmm, my Google mail account works fine. The mail account I'm trying to work is one from my personal domain. I'm sure I have the smtp and pop setup correctly, maybe it has to be setup differently on a iPhone ?
