just had a conversation with a friend, who mentioned that he had my number stored as an "iPhone" label within his contacts. When i checked my settings I didn't have any option to Edit labels or create a custom one.
I sync my contacts using ActiveSync with Exchange, disabling this allows me to create and edit custom labels.
I then attempted to use the Active protocol but set it for Gmail, again same problem no custom labels.
This must be a restriction of the ActiveSync.
Did anybody else know this??
