iPhone Data Roaming

Hi All

Since i unlocked my phone yesterday to use any sim card I found something strange. When the data Roaming switch is set to off the phone still gets connected to the edge when it should not do and it never use to.

Wonder how i can correct this?

Data roaming is to do with international cases isnt it? By switching it off you stop excessive charges when you go abroad.

Oh is it.... how do we turn off edge then to stop edge working? I use to use services but it a bit buggy in 1.1.3
