Hi all,
Hoping you can help.
Ever since changing my EE SIM card to a 4G sim only contract, my phone works ok for a minute, and then drops to no service. This happens regardless of location ( even in central London ). The only way to fix it is to reboot the phone, and then it goes to no service again within a few minutes, when I do get service, I can browse the Internet ok but not make any calls!
I have also enabled Wifi calling on my SIM card, which only works on my home internet and not on other wifi connections. I also get random messages popping up about the phone number being too short to text, even with the phone in standby.
I have also enabled visual voicemail which took 3 weeks to enable as I was just getting a red dot on the voicemail icon, then it suddenly started working
I have tried resetting the network settings on my phone, and also upgrading to the latest iOS , which hasn't helped
Not sure if this is related , but within the first week of having the new SIM card, EE fraud department blocked my sim without warning, a week after they enabled it again.
Any advice would be great.
Hoping you can help.
