iPhone email set-up - NTL

I'm after a little help.

I had my ntlworld.com email set-up on my iphone before and I could send but never received any email from it, is there a certain setting I need to change for it to work?

usually you can only receive but not send. the pop address for ntl works fine, but sending is an issue. some people say that if you use ntl's smtp for outgoing with a certain port it works but I could never get it working. what network are you on? If your on o2 they suggest using their smtp for the outgoing
 
I'm with O2.

I'm pretty sure last time I had pop and smtp ntlworld in the settings.

I'll try it again later, don't have my password with me at the moment.
