Hmmm, maybe we could do some sort of deal dude if you go ahead with this?

Ideally I'd like a new vibrator component and back plate (cos mines dented) :(

Otherwise my phone it working fine, but buying phones that are broken off ebay is 50% the price I paid for this.

He means at the bottom below the metal. There should be a small black plastic area that covers those orange components.

Personally i would leave this phone well alone. If it could be easily fixed the guy would have probably done it himself. In my opinion its more trouble than its worth.

Ah right, didnt notice that!

Im with you though, think its a bad idea as you will have no recourse if theres a problem. You know its broken after all.
 
Dont do it man, like many have said - more trouble than its worth...

Although I do love my iphone more than Angelina Jolie, so it may be worth it........ :p
