Hi,

I'm not really sure what is happening but every day for the last week and a bit my phone has said its full please delete something.

I've removed a few apps and deleted some albums I haven't listened to in a while but it keeps popping up.

I looked in the storage section and as I was starting to think it was whatsapp but that is using just 1.2GB.

I have now had to delete all 20GB of music I had on there and its is almost full again.

I don't really use iTunes but I plugged my phone in and apparently it is all documents and data! But where from?

Any ideas?

I dont know what is causing you the issues you are having but I was in the same situation as you with storage running out on my iphone I got one of these http://www.leefco.com/ibridge

It allowed me to back all my I-phone up and put back on what i need not a perfect soulution but it may help you.

Same thing happened to my htc one m7,i had less than 1gb left out of 32gb,phone was super slow and kept on restarting as well.

Found a file called SPVideoCache,it was a huge 14gb !!!!!

Deleted it and the phone is fine now, might be something similar on the iphone.

Mine was under these settings.....settings-storage-make more space-apps,it was the first one in my list.

hope this helps.

That's bad

I've a 16gb model and have about 8gb free (edit: checked, 7.8gb free)

There's an option to downscale the photos stored on your phone whilst keeping the originals on iCloud. Perhaps give that a go? The iPhone isn't even HD so makes zero difference

I had this problem, I think it happens when the iTunes Cloud Music gets confused with caching.

My phone hadn't been reset since 2013 though, so I just made sure I had an iCloud backup and wiped it. Everything was back to normal around an hour later, but with loads more free space.

Had a similar problem. Backing up and then restoring freed up a load of space. Worth a punt as a first port of call, easy enough to do.

Cheers guys. Backup and a restore without the music and all of that documents/data has gone :)

I don't use the Apple Music feature just albums I've bought so not sure about the caching some mentioned but its possible. Fingers crossed it doesn't return.
