Iphone formatted websites

I use the facebook one all the time. Slightly disappointed with the Amazon version its very basic and a lot of the text spills over buttons. I'm waiting to see if they implement a version for the BBC iPlayer, that would be good.

I think its great how a lot of the big web players are getting behind the iPhone. Its an old debate about whether sites should employ mobile versions but I think the iPhone is emerging as a serious mobile platform.

Also the iPhone is so well implemented that you can make a app work really well for it, because their have been lots of mobile versions of websites before but this is the first time that they have actually been good. Most seem to try and cater for all phones, some phones let you use the numbers to press links as short cuts so site makers but home [1], links [2] etc... others only let you navigate using the arrow keys, and then some have flash, java or javascript, some don't. its such a mismatch compared with pc's where most have flash and many have java, every one uses a keyboard and mouse and the screen size is approximately 1024x768 or larger.
