iPhone forward text message as email

Hi all

Does anyone know of an app or how I can forward an text message to an email address, other than copy and paste as that is not ideal. And the phone is not jailbroken so no Cydia apps etc

This is pretty basic functionality IMO

Ummm. Ok i can't actually type an email in as I can't type the at @ sign it's just letters/ numbers

It's not . It's a 0 and a + if you long press it. iOS 4.3.1

What i am doing :


Go to messages inbox
Click the arrow
Select a message
Choose forward
Then I get box to enter number
Letters only ,pressing 123 gives me only numbers and a + , no at sign




Can someone else with iPhone 4 verify this please as it is odd.

Ok. I'm not able to post a pic just now but my keypad looks totally different. I have iPhone 4.

Can someone else with 4.3 verify this, I have checked 2 phones, tesco and coda and both. Do not let you email smses

Don't really see the issue you have here, with all the faffing about you could have copied and pasted and emailed it off by now, it pretty much takes no time at all.

It's not really the same thing though. It takes loads of keystrokes, if you want to copy more than one text it's a major pita, there is no attribution or timestamp included in the copied text.

OK so this is weird:

My phone tesco, 4.3.1 has a kb with no @
My two work colleagues, who both got their phones on vodafone, at the same time, as part of the same package, both on 4.3.1 one has a keyboard like above with an @, and the other has a keyboard like mine with no @ sign

I have tried various message - does anyone have any ideas, and does anyone know of any other reports of this?
