I have some headphones that are perfectly moulded to my ears, so does anyone know of a decent adaptor for the iphone or, reluctantly, a decent set of headphones (not overly expensive) both with the inline volume/previous/next/pause/multi button support.

Thanks guys.

Something like this?

Can I ask where did you get your earphones from? Did they cost a lot? And do you hear a big improvement over traditional earphones?

They were a present, Klipsch Image X5, so I don't know how much they cost., google reveals around the tonne mark.

It's not so much an improvement as to the fact I love headphones that I can ram in my ears and drown out plebians.

Unfortunately I can't as it comes from a potential competitor, but I can post this:

Get better sound and clearer phone calls with the Monster iSoniTalk; Simply plug your own headphones into the iSoniTalk and clip the microphone on. Now you can enjoy superior music fidelity with your own high quality headphones, and you’re ready to take hands-free calls.

With the iSoniTalk, there's no fumbling with complicated controls or searching for the right button, because there's only one! When you get an incoming call, simply press it to pause your music and take the call. When you're done, press it again to hang up and resume your music.

The iSoniTalk can also be used to pause and play music even when you don't have an incoming call, so it's convenient for a quick conversation or time out when you need to take a break from your music.

I saw it for around £10 at a UK based vendor.

Aha, iSoniTalk..... has poor reviews :( Slipage etc.

I got one of those. It's not great to be honest. Clip wasn't strong enough to hold it to my shirt properly, and the connector is very bulky, almost to an unusable extent.

How about the Griffin SmartTalk...

Also none of these suggestions have the volume just the clicker as the technology is apple protected or some thing.

If you want in-ears which have all that inline you have to buy the apple in-ear headphones which are fantastic by the way as I a have them and they are far superior to my Senheiser CX95s which I tried out and then took back to get these with.

I have tried teh CX300, 400, 500 and 95 and these were better than all of those, and definatly better than the previous apple in-ears and the apple ear buds.

The "Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic"? Part number: MA850G/A?

I might pick them up today from the Applestore - I have to go there at 5.

They're much cheaper at the rainforest, but have "OLD" in the title, but same model number MA850G/A.
