Iphone help

Hi guys I just bought a new Iphone 3g and I am met with a problem.

Basically the phone froze, all it is showing is a screen of mother earth with the red and green button below. It is not responding to anything I press.

Any ideas?

tried holding the home and sleep button?

usually resets it.

Hold the sleep button and the home buttons down together for about 10-15 seconds.

They are the only 2 buttons on the iPhone.

the button on the front under the screen and the button on top. hold them down

if it keeps happening try a restore

Mine had a moment the other day. I jsut plugged it into my PC and it rebooted.
